Terms of Use

1. Service

Coy is an 18+ entertainment service for fictional AI character chats, discovery, story progression, message feedback, and AI Coach. It does not match real people or arrange meetings.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to accept these Terms. Use by minors is prohibited.

3. Account and deletion

The Service may create an anonymous identifier. Protect your device and session. Profile > Account and Data > “Reset account” clears content but may preserve the anonymous session. “Permanently delete account” on the same screen permanently deletes the anonymous account and associated Coy data. A new anonymous account is created if you use the app again. Cancel Apple subscriptions separately.

4. AI notice

• All characters, identities, images, histories, and messages are fictional.
• AI output may be inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, inconsistent, or fabricated.
• The Service is entertainment and communication practice—not professional or emergency advice.
• You remain responsible for real-world messages and decisions.

5. User content

You retain rights in content you submit and are responsible for it. You grant us and our providers a non-exclusive, service-limited licence to host, process, display, transmit, secure, and troubleshoot it to provide requested features. Do not submit content without necessary rights.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Illegal, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, privacy-invasive, or infringing content.
• Sexual abuse or exploitation, sexualization of minors, or non-consensual sexual content.
• Impersonation or presenting fictional characters as real-person dating contacts.
• Malware, security circumvention, reverse engineering, disruption, scraping, automated extraction, resale, or unauthorized commercial use.

7. Intellectual property

Coy’s software, brand, interface, characters, stories, text, and images belong to Coy or licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Subscriptions and payments

• Products, prices, and periods appear before purchase; payment is charged by Apple.
• Renewing subscriptions renew unless disabled at least 24 hours before period end.
• Manage renewal in Apple Account Settings. Cancellation generally takes effect after the paid period.
• Apple rules and mandatory consumer law govern refunds. Resetting or permanently deleting the account, deleting the app, or stopping use does not cancel a subscription.

9. Safety

Do not rely on AI output for high-risk decisions. In a crisis or immediate danger, contact local emergency services and a qualified professional. End and report unsafe conversations.

10. Availability

We may change features or suspend the Service for maintenance, security, legal, or technical reasons. Uninterrupted or error-free service is not guaranteed.

11. Suspension

We may restrict or terminate access for breach, risk, or legal necessity. Provisions that by nature survive termination remain effective.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Subject to mandatory law, Coy is not liable for reliance on AI output, user content, third parties, data/profit loss, or indirect loss. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

13. Third parties and Apple

The Service may use Supabase, Google Gemini, Apple, and optional Telegram services. The iOS licence is between you and Coy, not Apple; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of applicable iOS provisions.

14. Governing law

Republic of Türkiye law governs, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or venues available where you live.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after effectiveness accepts the update. Contact iletisim@appdiyorki.com.
